Saudi Aramco's presence in Singapore spans over 30 years.
Saudi Aramco's presence in Singapore dates back to 1993 when a representative office was created to develop new markets for Saudi Aramco in Southeast Asia.
With a great surge in Saudi Aramco drilling operations in the mid-2000s, inspection services were included in the work completed by the Singapore operation, and were then managed by a second office established in 2006.
In 2014, Aramco Asia Singapore was officially inaugurated. And to date, our activity has grown to include marketing services and strategic sourcing and logistics, where we ensure the timely delivery of materials from not only Singapore, but countries including Malaysia and Indonesia.
Small beginnings
Our expertise comes from the 90-year heritage of parent company, Saudi Aramco – when in 1935, the very first Aramco test well was drilled in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
From developing one of the greatest energy reserves the world has ever known, over the years the business has evolved from an oil company into a fully integrated global energy enterprise.
But that doesn't mean our work is done. It's an exciting time for the energy sector, and just the start of our journey to help invent the future.
